I had a piece of Corelle break a few years ago. It absolutely SHATTERED into a million sharp shards. It was so hard to clean up, and I got rid of the rest that I had around because it was such a pain.

I always used to struggle with this advice- it would still take a long time and a lot of shaking things around. It was a pain in the ass.
Then someone recommended microwaving the alcohol for about 30 seconds. I started doing that and it’s an absolute game changer.

Reply to Been using this Converse backpack for 11 years now, but I need something new. What can I get for, let’s say under 100 American freedom eagles, which is dumb, basic and will last me another 11 years? by yk__dus
I got an REI branded backpack decades ago. After about 15 years, it was starting to show some wear. I happened to have the receipt still, and I took it in and since they didn’t carry the same model anymore the just refunded the full purchase price.
Idk what a backpack by REI goes for these days, but that impressed the shit out of me. (Note: they would have had fewer options if I hadn’t kept my receipt.)
Otherwise, I picked this up about 4 years ago and it’s still in like new condition, and I use it daily. I love it for the amount of space, and the laptop pocket opens from the back of the bag without having to open the main compartments. (This also means I feel safe keeping snacks in my bag bc the laptop pocket is completely separate and never gets crumbs in it, even if something spills in my bag.)

Reply to any great magnetic shower heads? by Joloven
I have this one. Amazon says I bought it in early 2018, and it still works great.
It's a *little* low on pressure, but that could also just be the plumbing in my home.

Well, if COVID taught us anything it’s that people will remain calm, listen to the science, and act with the good of everyone in mind.
Lolol.
