Best of luck - if you know people who live here may I suggest sending them all messages letting them know you’re looking and to keep you in mind if they know of any. You never know. They can send you pictures of for rent signs. Some people are old school around here and don’t necessarily post online just right on the window.

To be frank, good apts (like good jobs) in RI are hard to find “unless you know a guy”. By the time you hear of a good place it would probably get rented to a friend of a friend before your application gets completed. I’m not trying to discourage you but just want you to know it will definitely be hard for you. A lot of people use realtors to find apt from what I hear.

Reply to Why does Rhode Island College have such a negative reputation? Is it that bad? by PinkSwallowLove
Your response to these opinions should be “what are you hoping for from a college that RIC lacks?”
Because it all depends on your POV. I was nearly 30 when I went, married, living in my own house, two classes at a time, paying mostly out of pocket and working in my industry; RIC was a perfect choice. It was affordable, local to my house in Cranston and I could be in and out. I wasn’t looking for a “social” life from my college or needed “opportunities”. I love the diversity of the school with ages and races. Was everything perfect? No - fuck RIC sometimes. But it got me where I needed to without debt.

Thanks, I really like this one and it’s close to my house. Nice to see they have weekend events. A lot of ones are during the week days.

Mine was about $40/$50 each. It’s normally at least 2x that (we have a baby, heat always on). There was a general credit applied?

Reply to Is it possible (or rather, realistic) for a broke 25 year old to (assuming he gets in) attend URI without incurring a single penny of debt? by PinkSwallowLove
My friend did because her dad was on disability. Her parents were divorced. She only had to show one parents income.
