This has been the overwhelming advice given to him by multiple people. However... here we are. He got one end off, and is now sitting next to the forge, knocking the melted bottom off as it softens, with a long steel rod. I've dailed 9 1 ... and am waiting to see how it goes.

Yep. He's about 10 dozen energy drink cans in, and starting on the driveshaft of an old Ambulance now.

I just saw one of these in a kitchen store in Kansas, and was like... wait, wha...? I had no idea they were a thing. Suddenly everyone on reddit is talking them up. Right now we have a Le Creuset one that ... works but, I feel it's not super special. Probably the universe telling me something I guess.
