Personally, I'd say the best was Duel (starring Dennis Weaver).
Also up there would be Escape from Sobibor (Rutger Hauer).
Another favorite, although most people wouldn't include it because it compares unfavorably it to the original theatrical release, is 12 Angry Men (Jack Lemmon, George C. Scott).
I suppose I'd say they don't really feel relevant any more because the best ones will come from streaming services, so won't really be considered 'tv movies' although they still would be.
edit- Brian's Song, as mentioned by ray_0856, is another good one. I was trying to remember it, and could only come up with Bang the Drum Slowly, which was a theatrical release)
