Reply to USPS again by rchhe
In Williston I have 4 USPS packages that have been marked "Out for delivery" since last Friday (over a week ago) but not delivered yet. I don't think they're truly lost, the PO just has a big backlog and not enough staff. The delays haven't been quite this bad in the past, but looking on Front Porch Forum or whatever it's clear it's not an isolated case.

I'm not, though. I only know it because I looked at their user history.

Where do you live? You post in so many local subreddits it's hard to tell

Fidium = Consolidated in the same way that XFINITY = Comcast. It's just a branding thing.

I think the author wasn't so much proclaiming a grand category of "Vermont-style" pizza as just trying to describe that particular pizza made with local Vermont ingredients and a maple crust. Churning out words for content mills isn't easy.

I haven't heard of a place like that around here. Montreal might be a possibility, though, closer than NYC. You could see if Henri Henri or another hat shop up there offers what you're looking for. Good luck

It depends on the rules of the public transport agency. If eating is allowed, go for it. Just be careful, clean up after yourself, and bring a few napkins.

Reply to comment by [deleted] in How much land do I have to buy to register cars here? by [deleted]
you'd probably be in violation of the registration laws of your home state. Usually they require obtaining in-state registration within something like 30 or 60 days of living there. And tax evasion is probably a crime you should be aware of, too
ARaoulVermonter t1_j2t9cg3 wrote
You can register cars here as a resident, no land ownership needed. I'm pretty sure you can even register cars here as a nonresident, but your home state might not approve.

Reply to Why do so many people from out of state think that tire chains are the answer? by SnooMaps1313
Because people are mentally going through every possible option, no matter how unlikely to work, to avoid spending a bunch of money on a set of snow tires.
And some people may be from areas where using tire chains for mountain passes is an acceptable option for winter driving.

You'd get it back when you return the cans. It would be like paying 5 cents a can in 1972, accounting for inflation.

It doesn't make sense that the rate is the same as it was in 1972. 5 cents back then was worth much more than it is now. It should be at least a quarter.

Mint Mobile runs on the T-Mobile network, so coverage should be more or less the same.

I'd wager this plant has been in Vermont for a greater portion of its life than a lot of people on this subreddit. It's discriminatory to question its Vermontiness just because of its tropical ancestry (not saying you were, but it's a frustratingly common experience among Vermonters who are houseplants)
