Can confirm, my "doers" get a lot more work than the ones that need prodding and hand holding. As a manager I have limited time too. In the end though, I make sure they are rewarded with bonuses and promotions, but yeah, this is a thing.

I was sick for about a week before getting it because I was having shortness of breath, got me feeling ok after a couple days, then I felt almost better by the time the course was over. After I finished it I got sick again, less severely for a couple weeks after.
I think it saved me, but covid sucks big time.

They are omnivores just as much as you and I are. Cats are carnivores.

Good, recruiters in general suck.. especially for tech jobs. Yeah it turns out that some English major probably isn't the best judge of technical talents, just whether or not the resume is pretty.

That's probably because they aren't an employee of Uber. Drivers are only paid a fraction of what you as a rider pay, and they only make money if they drive. That pay also has to cover their car lease, maintenance, gas, etc.

The onus to notify affected customers has always been on the company issuing the recall. Nothing here has changed, people don't go to the Ford dealership to deal with a physical recall until they get the notice in the mail.

The point of a recall isn't that the car needs to be physically recalled. It's that there's a legal and regulatory framework for the government to track large scale issues with these vehicles. Just because it's an over the air fix, doesn't mean that every customer will get it, or that we shouldn't care about the flaw being present to begin with.
If anything you should be more scared that Tesla flies by the seat of their pants with untested software, and evident flaws emerging at a rapid rate.

From the top of that article.. "Other methods to gauge scientific prowess still put the United States somewhat ahead"
This does not imply your original statement of Chinese research superiority.

The metrics cited, namely spending and number of papers submitted, do not necessarily mean they are "superior".. it means they are spending more and have more researchers working on it.
Quantity is not the same as quality.

Are there any studies showing a safety improvement with automated enforcement? I was pretty sure it increased the accident rate..
