This^^^*** - to correct my original reply, yes there are some, but honestly nothing too impressive and/or inexpensive. Winfield's cold brew is Rise, Honey Joe's is La Colombe, and in general they just seem very pricey is all.

More retail/grocery options in downtown area that don't need accessibility by car - Target isn't cutting it.

Similar to the above, there needs to be more retail (or coffee, eateries etc.) in all the ground-floor areas of these major apartment buildings. Atlantic Station is finally putting in a Fresh & Co, but there's still a ton of open space left that's going unused, and the same goes for a lot of other buildings.

Main quality of life improvement would be less traffic congestion, but that seems impossible at this point.

Would also love to see more family-owned coffee shops open up.

I live in ASW, moved April 2022 from next door (Atlantic Station). Overall I do like the building, the amenities are nice, and for summer time they open up the doors for the indoor pool. Great spot overall for the summer and decent amenities for winter. Cleaning staff is great, gym has what I need, and you can't really get closer proximity to the train station (~5 min walk ). They do a few small events per month that have free drinks and food. Haven't really had any maintenance issues. If looking for a room, choose one that is facing further south so that you get a good amount of sun/view (facing south meaning towards west stamford/95, or where the 6th floor patio is below you.

Annoyances are mostly garage parking fees ($125 for first car, $175 EXTRA for a second spot) and the fact that while this is a pet-friendly building, a lot of the owners are lazy and have their dog just pee right out the front doors so the cobblestone driveway always seems to have that going on. Parking garage can also be a little bit of a pain because most spots are designed for smaller than SUVs, but you can always get a spot.

FWIW - My renewal is up in the summer and unless a big increase happens then I plan on staying here.

Generally not a fan of the washes around here, and lines can be long. However, if I am going to go to a more standard wash, Greenwich auto spa is pretty great. Good pricing and no scratches on my black car (...massive knock on wood), and the towel drying is a huge help.

I really think the blowers at most of the self serve places just unfortunately don't do a great job or else I would do them more. A friend of mine says Star Wash in Norwalk is pretty decent, as well.

Glasses of wine are in the $5-$8 category, they do have some cocktails for under $10 I believe, cheap beers, and a few $3 shots. Also have a few snacks all under $10 too

Bar Rosso - good deals across the board AND it stays open til 7 while most stop happy hour at 6.

It typically takes me a good 5 minutes to leave Atlantic station, go through the light on north state st, go under 95 and take a left, go through another two lights, and then finally get on 95 (which is maybe a quarter mile away from Atlantic station).

Don't get me started on the potholes on north state getting off exit 7 southbound, either
