I'm gonna make it very clear to you. It's like you telling me that you're lonely and then I'm telling you that you need to be friends with a gay man due to the potential level of sexual intimacy.

Now you might be completely ok having a gay friend but adding that level of potential sexual aggression is not the panacea you're claiming it to be.

Because not all of those women find the cure for their loneliness to be a penis from a similarly lonely man.

I'm a minority that experiences racism on a monthly, if not weekly basis and I still manage to make and find connections rather commonly.

If the handful of bad people stopped me from meeting people who are nice and gracious then I would be miserable too.

I been there and didn't care for it. I thought that both the hot pot and BBQ sections were mediocre at best and the only thing I did like about it is that you can do kbbq and hot pot at the same time.

I really didn't care for anything in the Hub. I thought the food was rather mediocre.

I haven't tried hot pot king though

Hot N Roll in Ellicott City is my favorite spot.

I'm in my early 30s, I would consider myself somewhat nerdy but most of my friends have previously watched anime at least once in their lives. We grew up with toonami and shows like DBZ, Guran Lagaan, and Full Metal Alchemist.

I dont really obsessively follow new anime any more but my gf and I watched Akiba Maid War recently and she died laughing several times in that show. Girlfriend still somewhat follows the story of one piece and her sister which is in her early 20s watches some Yuri stuff.

I think anime watching is relatively common. Maybe as common as people who own xbox in terms of cultural prevalence.

Japan could have assumed the centuries old imperial China bureaucratic structures, cut deals with warlords/the republic, and as long as they left the peasantry alone or at least let them do whatever they want i doubt they would have a mass uprising. It's not like the republic of China was a very popular political force among the peasantry either.

Of course most people weren't gonna be ok with it, but the Japanese can probably assume the old diplomatic structures and most normal people would have been ok with whatever is going on unless affects their day to day lives.

But nope, they gotta rape women and bayonet babies.

They're not particularly expensive. I know of only 2, Dukem and Tabor. I personally like Dukem more but I had this really good Ethiopian beer at Tabor. If you're ever motivated to cook your own African food, Tabor is located right next to an African food market.

Oh, and I want to expand on the initial comment I made. We also have a pretty decent seafood and if you're willing to travel out to Ellicott City, there's a bustling korean/Asian food scene.

We got pretty solid Ethiopian food.
