Arguably worse tbh. Look at tiktok and the difference between western world tiktok and China's version. It's incredibly hard to find educational videos on ours yet that's all they show in China. That has an impact on the kids viewing it and our society as a whole. Like it or not entertainment has a massive impact on countries.

The longer we wait the harder it'll be so better to do it now while the impact will be less than wait for a better time that'll never come. We're not and never will compete with slave (or close to) labor.
