This. I had lots of bullies telling me to kill myself or cut myself or drink bleach when I was in high school and even afterwards. I’m all kinds of fucked up now. I wish the people who tortured me for years could get some kind of recompense for the harm they did to me.

Not everyone wants a Pitt or Pitt mix or have the ability to care for a large dog. The problem being that’s most of what these shelters have. People can get high and mighty on their high horse about only adopting while not accepting that sometimes the dogs they have at shelters is not suitable for the people looking.
