While I mostly agree with you, I do think we need more supermarkets. Center City might not need supermarkets, but there are definitely neighborhoods in North Philly whose only sources of food are the local corner store. You talk about caring for the people who currently live here—well part of that is making sure the people have access to fresh food.

The fact that you did and I didn’t now makes me somewhat concerned about my hearing capabilities lol
