Were you able to purchase the power wall without the solar shingles? Did you use some company or install it yourself? I've been interested in getting one myself.

I still can't tell if we are actually getting rain or snow. The reports are all over the place about what is going to happen. News is hyping it up to be some storm of the century or something like that.

Are snow tires actually needed? When I first moved here, I went to a tire shop and asked for snow tires. The sales man convinced me that since I had awd, using an all weather tire which was 3 peak rated should be fine. So I ended up going with a tire like that which I keep on year round.
Mind you, 95% of my driving is mostly local or next town over. Don't typically commute long distances often. Also, my older neighbors still switch their tires every year, so was curious what other people thought.

Snowing decent and it's starting to get windy here. A large limb of a tree snapped off and the top hit the metal roof of my deck, waking me up. Luckily I think the damage is just superficial to my deck but will need to check it out closer when the weather clears up. Guess I should do some more tree trimming this spring/summer.
