Yup, it’s everywhere. Natural gas is more than double what it was two years ago. Electricity more expensive too. I have a detached house and the bill last month was $320, the highest I’ve ever seen. Other people in my neighborhood are paying 450-500. I’ve started keeping the house at 60 and using a space heater for whatever room I’m in.

I love Wegman's, but their meat and seafood prices are ludicrous. Everything else is reasonable, and their store brands are usually great (eg, if you like seltzer, Wegman's brand is the best in both price and variety of flavors).

I think there's a noticeable drop in quality of a lot of the stuff at Aldi, especially their off-brand stuff. I've been much happier with Lidl.

Twin Peaks definitely leaned into the shitty soap opera aspects, even lampooning itself a bit with the in-show soap opera you saw bits of, but it only got bad-bad in the second half of the second season.
