Lots of English speaking movies in non English speaking countries are dubbed (Sometimes you have the option to watch the movie subbed or dubbed, but there are less of that now) and Anime is only subbed if you watch it online. The one that is on TV is dubbed as well.
Source: I live in a Spanish speaking country.

Reply to Snyderverse and COVID? by HDhunter360
People not going to watch the DC movies involved in the cinematic universe killed the Snyderverse.
You can blame Covid for people not going to the theater, but since it didn't kill other cinematic universes, I don't think it fits.

Even if I was a fan of the Snyderverse, I would still not go to see the movies in theater, because Zack Snyder loves making re versions of his own movies that fix the mistakes, so what is the point?

Live action, because The Land Before Time had like 12 movies and there is Dinosaur and The Good Dinosaur, too.

What about the Captain Phillips movie?

Now, I agree that it is weird that there are not more. Someone somewhere should be doing a (new) Sandokan movie series.

"Most people get African sleeping sickness after being bitten by an infected tsetse fly. In rare cases, the condition has been transmitted from mother to child, through sexual contact, or in a laboratory setting."

Don't forget that House treats the rarest of the rarest cases by design, and even then, the cases behave in an unusual manner.

They thought it might have been tularemia, but wasn't.

If you made the same mistake that I did, then you are thinking of the Hunting episode.

The movie is great on its own, as it is really well acted, as long as you don't expect it to be like the book.

I don't remember Wick being all that proficient with hand to hand combat. Didn't he struggled against an old man at the end of the first movie?
Now, he can kill you with a book or a fucking pencil, but with a right hook? I don't know.

Purely hand to hand? probably Bourne.
With weapons (and everything that is not part of the human body counts as a weapon)? probably Wick.
By deceiving everyone with a scooby doo mask? probably Hunt.

I noticed this when I went to a shopping mall that had two floors, had three escalators that went up and one that went down.

Reply to Tim Robbins should have won Best Actor for The Shawshank Redemption over Tom Hanks for Forrest Gump by Scmods05
I disagree.
I like both movies a lot, and while both actors did great jobs with each character, I think Tom Hanks did a better job performing Forrest than Tim Robbins did performing Andy.
If anything, Tim Robbins performance was simpler than Tom Hanks.

Tim Robbins might have deserved a nomination (though I don't know who else was nominated that year), but Hanks would have still won.
