Aesthetics and tastes can vary a lot but I think a walk across the T Potterfield bridge is a photo-worthy adventure. The cobblestone streets in Shockoe bottom are interesting? Cary Town/Byrd theater as well!

nope not quite- it is in the shopping center (idk if it even has a name) across the street from bernies subs, the hardware store, and 7-11. They always have their deeply reduced sales racks out on the sidewalk.

Have you tried Indigo in the West End? I think it would be a better mix and the clothes are a bit higher end in terms of their brands. That is my main problem with Plato's closet--most things are from Target or similar.

If you'd be willing to try desert heat instead of water check out Purify on Patterson Ave. They have a really nice set up and you can get a good deal as a new client. Not any full bath houses around here that I know of other than the Y :)

Hobnob has a covered outdoor patio area. Portico would be a far drive but very enjoyable! I'd call both before making the trek to see about reservations. Last time I went to Little Nickel (suggested by someone else) they weren't using their heating lamps, unsure if that was a one time thing or what.
