Yeah, the other food critic apparently asked for $2,600 (and probably expected free food), which is really shitty. The business said they weren't sure if they could pay rent and someone seriously thought to charge them that much money.

I thought the score from 1883 was beautiful. The music from seasons 1 & 2 of The Walking Dead were also really great.

I assume it was because she was weird and mysterious, so that was alluring. Plus, I guess they figured she actually liked them more than she let on, which is true.
