I guess my question is if the current model is “unconstitutional” what is a “constitutional” model? And does this actually improve children’s education or is this simply more political maneuvering?

Not to be that guy but I know for a fact my local school district keeps more old school buildings open than necessary and that they blow an inordinate amount of their budget on repairs for those buildings. They have too few students in each school but parents are emotionally attached to the high schools they graduated from and won’t let them close for consolidation efforts. It’s also a very low ranking school district. I don’t believe showering money on the school system will improve the education of students here.

Your vehicle will always rust it’s more a question of the rate at which it happens

Wash it every couple of days. Especially after each heavy snow. I’ll use a proper car wash every 2 weeks and do spot cleans with a pressure washer and sprinkler every time i see salt which is like every 2-3 days
And get the underbody oil/grease/tar coat in the summer each year.

You can legally buy car parts even if you can’t legally own a car. Unless you wanna ban cnc machines, 3d printers, and every piece of steel and wood in the aisle of home depot, you can’t effectively regulate things that aren’t firearms yet
Maybe actually deal with felons instead of letting unrepentant unreformed felons loose again and again

The article is wrong, there are restrictions on who can buy or own or sell firearms, serialized or not. An unserialized firearm, or “ghost gun” is still a firearm and all normal laws apply. If you can’t legally own a gun you can’t legally own a gun serialized or not

“The investigation reveals how quickly a small-town government can collapse under the weight of personal conflicts and vendettas, and raises the question of whether taxpayers are best served by Pennsylvania’s more than 2,500 cities, towns, townships, and boroughs that sorely lack critical oversight of their workings.”
This statement is trash. There is tons of oversight on local government and they are severely restricted in what they can and can’t do by state law. Between the Pennsylvania sunshine act and the laws for financial reporting it’s pretty hard to hide shit.
I’m not a resident of tioga, but what is depicted as “personal conflicts and vendettas” looks like a good old power struggle between city staff and council. This happens from time to time, and they can be messy.

We already have an extraction tax and give a huge chunk to municipalities. Problem is theres a shit ton of restrictions and basically all we were able to figure out was use it all on roads.

You’re not going to do much damage to anyone but yourself on a quad or dirt bike. You get into an accident, you just get yeeted and die. Someone has to hose you off the pavement. The people in the steel cage that is a car are fine and not likely to be hurt. Just means your likely to be personally liable for the dent in a car panel

Insurance and registration? Who cares? You don’t just get to kill people or run them over because they don’t have those. And if it was a conversion or dual sport probably did have those anyway.
B0MBOY t1_itj76qq wrote
Is it a dirt bike or a dual sport motorcycle? The difference between the two is basically just street legality features. Second it doesn’t say the rider was actively doing anything wrong. Third watch where you’re going whether you have right of way or not you have the responsibility to be alert and not hit people/stuff.

Reply to Lawmaker takes drug test to prove Pennsylvania DUI laws unfair by victorix58
The reality is we’re at the limit of technical knowledge. The tests are super sensitive, and the experts can’t agree on a level of thc that accurately reflects impairment because it’s not as consistent as alcohol.
I’d suggest we structure our laws so it’s only a dui if the person fails and impairment test and a drug test. If they pass the impairment test they should be off the hook. But I don’t believe we should be enabling more DUI because of how much damage they can do
