Agreed! I listen to long series while driving or doing chores, and typically read shorter books physical. I also tend to increase the reading speed in audio books depending on the voice actor.

If I’m reading at bedtime, I lose a significant amount of sleep because I’m more interested in the story than in sleeping. Also, I fully lose track of time while reading, and often think it’s maybe midnight and time to put the books down when I’m reality it’s usually around 3 or 4 am.

I don’t think you should hate either character, but rather seem them as both complex human beings who have flaws and have made mistakes even within their complex circumstances. Both have feelings that are valid, and you’re right, they don’t cancel each other out. Support systems for both of them would likely be able to help them function better as friends. I love how this book gives insight into mental health issues and how all consuming it can feel to a person experiencing it, so well as how alienating it can be for the people around them.

I have a couple of methods. One is Goodreads, which you can access either through their website or their phone app. I also have a “books” folder in my phone photo library, where I take pics of physical books that I find interesting and want to remember later. I go through that folder on occasion and tag the ones I’ve read so I can separate them out. I’ve also used the website fantastic fiction, but it’s not as great for the “to read” pile as Goodreads.
