I actually agree it's a failed system, I think there's just a way to go about it and not. We grew up knowing we would never see a cent of it, the older generation did not and is currently relying on it in many circumstances. However many of them are not at all, and are way better off than we are. It should be a circumstantial cut off, need based. Not just cutting the program all together. I know a lot of boomers that don't need it at all, I know a lot of boomers who do.

Trump increased the national debt more than Obama did in 8 years, in just 4 short years. That is not 'fiscal responsibility'.

Also: The first time Trump was impeached was for withholding congressionally approved aid for the Ukraine. What is happening in Ukraine was easily preventable, but Trump made sure Russia could move right in because he was too busy attempting to force Zelensky to lie and say he was investigating Biden. The fact you think it's "Democrats" who "allowed" Putin to walk right in is deranged. It was quite literally Trump.https://www.cnbc.com/2020/01/16/trump-administration-broke-law-in-withholding-ukraine-aid.html

PS: We are not in a recession, GDP rose 2.6% last quarter. Stop breaking everything down to left and right. Nothing is that simple.

Care to share how the dems tanked the economy? I keep seeing this blanket statement with zero facts on here. Need the info, I must be out of the loop.

Also care to share how many Republicans voted for anti-price gouging, Inflation reduction act and consumer protection acts like insulin caps that would keep costs lower? The results may shock you. But if your only strategy is to lie....
