I know lots of guys who did a house in the Poconos and had fun, it’s a more chill time. You can also hit up a downtown area in NJ like Red Bank or Morristown, do a nice dinner, go out get drinks, rent an air BNB or do a hotel room

Property taxes probably went up for landlord, too. It sucks but at the end of the day, their purpose is the make $ on the property

I’m not a lawyer, I’m not sure. But is all do this worth it? They returned the deposit late but you also violated the lease agreement. I would just cut your losses and move on. Their charges aren’t outrageous especially if they hired someone.

Camden is #14 most dangerous places to live in the US and chance of violent crime is like 1 in 60 people. A friend went to a concert in Camden and a cop stopped at a red light next to him and told him to slow down at red lights, make sure no cars were coming, and to go through to get out of the area as fast as possible.

If you find the right rescue- it’s not like that at alllll. We got our puppy from Louie’s Legacy. We filled out application that just asked basic info, they called to chat and set up the meet n greet and we took our puppy home that Saturday! I agree some ask soooo many unnecessary questions and god forbid you don’t have a fenced in yard or work from home they don’t accept you. Louie’s fosters in NYC and surrounding areas so they know dogs can be perfectly happy in an apartment :)

Louie’s legacy animal rescue! Based out of Staten island but they have a lot of dogs and puppies- even some rescued from Amish breeders so they occasionally have doodle mixes and poodles, etc.

I have a lot of cops in my family- they can make a lot but they do work A LOT, too. All that over time is time away. Just something to consider. K prefer my lower salary for working 10 months of the year. To each their own though!
