The full first saga of Chainsaw Man changes the context of the first few arcs animated greatly. It’s starts out as “boy with powers goes on quest” but evolves into something I liked a lot more by the end. I’d recommend sticking it out if another season gets animated. Though if it was a 7.5 so far, it’ll probably be around the 8-9 range for you once the first saga is fully animated.
