no. in their defense i did have pain in the back lower part of my knee on the left, so i guess that is what made her think it was the calf since i was walking and my pain levels were minimal, but im still kinda flabbergasted by it.

i ended up calling an ortho after a week when i still couldn't put weight on it and was having issues moving my leg mainly at the knee. he though it was maybe a small meniscus tear that could be rehabbed with pt. this is why mri's are so important with knee injuries. Since my body was naturally guarding the injury i passed all the tests tht checked for ligament damage and more severe meniscus damage.

a lot of people assume injuries like that are unbearable, more than likely what the pa at urgent care did and why she diagnosed it as a mild calf sprain, but i was able to walk pretty normal and was pain free before my surgery.

thats probably because it wasn't a conversation. you questioned my opinions, and i answered. i think you're just mad i don't think big rigs is good bbq cause you seemed to take it rather personal. you also won't tell me your experience with bbq. once i again whats you're favorite bbq in the whole world is so vague how can i begin to answer that? if you want recommendations for good bbq, the answer becomes dependent on other relevant factors.

are you only able to eat at one bbq place in austin? im gonna have to say franklins because its the go to classic. but if you want some really awesome bbq go to la barabaque, micklethwait, and leroy and lewis. drive up to fort worth for goldees.

want whole hog in nc, you have to have skylight inn and sam jones then pick a couple others, but nothing will top skylight. get some chicharrons for snacking later.

want to try and bbq at home, first off don't try to do it in a pellet smoker, they suck. make sure you know how to properly trim a brisket, something big rigs does not. choose your wood wisely, texas is known for post oak. watch some how to videos online. learn the important temps and times. meat will be absorbing the most smoke the first two hours of smoking. this is when your ring is formed and is why its important to not f it up.

im sorry my standards are above what the local restaurants can put out. also, more people are into bbq than just restaurant owners.

I don't know why you're so butthurt I hate big rigs, you sound just like the owner when someone gives him the 1* he deserves. the other mediocre bbq places around here are nothing to write home about either. Nothing has tickled my fancy better than what I can make at home, especially when it can be made properly. with a proper smoke ring and mouth feel.

I urge you to taste actual good bbq. travel, do a bbq tour in texas, go to nc and do a whole hog tour. watch some videos online and see why having a brisket that is the consistency of roast beef is not quality brisket. why the first few hours are so important to smoking your meat correctly and why pellet smoking is for the birds.

Im not surprised the folks around here who consider a bbq, hot dogs on propane to take offense to my take that the bbq around here sucks, but it does. sucks to suck.

lol, you're hilarious. smoke ring is important to how well you bbq. don't call it bbq if you can't even get a smoke ring, which isn't surprising because they use a fancy oven.

the quality of their brisket is still absolutely terrible. its over cooked and has the consistency of roast beef. so now we have a bbq joint that A. can't smoke their meat well and B. can't cook their meat right.

Texas would ruin them if that was served down there and they're some of the nicest people ive ever met.

big rigs is the most disappointed ive been with bbq in my whole life. why does their brisket taste and have mouth feel like smoked roast beef? where are their smoke rings? it's a disgrace to bbq. I should have known better when my friend recommended it and said they love the nashville hot chicken. of course it's fried and you don't have to taste the crap bbq. if you can smoke your meats inside where you serve the customers, you are not making real bbq. its a fancy oven you add logs to.

op avoid this place unless you want ghosts of texan past to haunt you.

lap of love made a painful time better. they were great and when my old boy decided to live another few months, they didn't charge us or give us any issues cancelling and were there when we needed them again. its terrible to say, but i will only use them when the time comes for my other animals.

carhops steak hoagie, the z-28, is fire. I like the super sport for their italian. that pepper relish is delicious.

the owner and his daughter are always so nice as well. I wish I wanted hoagies more because i only go there a few times a year, but its always great and its nice talking with such nice people.

my family is in the keweenaw peninsula. It's about 14 hours with tolls no stops, and 15 without tolls no stops.

Honestly when I tell people about the UP and show them on the map, I can't tell you how many times people told me they thought that was Wisconsin. You're right to say the yoop is a far drive, i've made it a bunch of times and pretty much refuse now that im older. beautiful area, but too long a drive and nothing is available really up there. they have walmart and everything else is 2-5 hour drive otherwise.
