I've seen the same with electricity. I went out of my way to make my house more energy efficient through insulating and air sealing. As a result we used like 15-20% less electricity but our bill was $10-20 more than last year because of electric rates going up by like 40%.

I recall reading yesterday that he will not caucus with the democrats or republicans, and will have staff members from both parties. It's bonkers.

Yes, but he totally boned the PA Dems by eliminating their slimmest of slim majority. So much for PA moving forward. One step forward, two steps back.

Did you know Pennsylvania's state legislature has been under republican control for 30+ years in a row? They sure do complain a lot about what's happening in the commonwealth when they are the ones who are responsible for it.

Same in Centre county. I dropped mine off at the county building since drop boxes were not open yet.

Election Day as a holiday does nothing for retail workers. Easy, accessible early and universal mail voting does more for everyone. Look at how Washington or Oregon (I forgot which) does it and emulate that.
