Depends on how you interpret the facts. If nothing changes, all SS beneficiaries receive a 20-30% reduction in benefits when the funds are depleted. What republicans say is that the cuts are coming. We can either plan for them or it’s an across the board cut.

They can string fiber on poles versus run it to the house. Amd the cell repeaters can extend that farther. It enables cheaper speeds to the home than ftth oddly enough

The lender wanted 20% down? That doesn't seem outrageous if they are the perfect borrower. In a rate change environment like this, to get the best available rates, the banks need the best assurances of repayment and Loan to value.

They likely could have out less down but their rate would have been higher if the banks are assessing an increased risk right now.
