The point is to deliver only when you are home so there won't be any packages left out for porch pirates. Mark Rober's recent video on this explained a lot and answers most questions in this thread.

I loved Journey to the Center of the Earth from 2008. It was just a good family movie. The ending made me excited for a sequel, but it sucked seeing Dwayne Johnson being the star and Brendan Fraser not being involved in Journey 2.

If you mean Nipsey Hussle, that was just his stage name. His actual name was Airmiess Joseph Asghedom.

It's just someone's fun personal project... This isn't something going to market, someone just had an idea and wanted to document their process to completion meanwhile sharing all of the resources in case someone else wanted to make one of their own.

This is the tech we look back on in 30 years and are like "wow I'm glad the military funded this" like the Internet. These are the early building blocks building the foundation of tech we're all going to be using in 2040.

It's how every startup works. They aren't crowdfunding like a kickstarter, these are already wealthy people investing money because they hope the concept will take off and earn them many times what they contributed. Why have existing companies clean up their own mess when you can create a new company to get paid by existing companies and take a slice of that pie.

Manufacturers in China actually look at Kickstarter campaigns for ideas. Stuff like the Fidget Cube was ripped off and manufactured en masse in China and shipped to the US before the legitimate Fidget Cube was able to finish their kickstarter campaign and ship units.

Reply to comment by Bob_Chris in LG’s 97-inch G2 OLED is actually a bargain at $25K by ChickenTeriyakiBoy1
I picked up a C8 from a Best Buy in 2020 for $898. Floor model, listed online for $1098. Went to pick it up and saw a sticker showing $898. They said it was an accident but still matched the price.
Brought it home, it had over 14,000 hours in the previous 2 years being used as a floor model, so it was on just about 24/7 for 2 years. It had the "Best Buy" logo burned in covering a good portion of the screen.
I called up LG and reported burn-in, and knowing they offer 1 free panel replacement even outside warranty, they actually sent out a technician to swap it out. It's sitting at almost 19K hours now and perfect :)

There are no air rights that would block drones flying over your house in the US. Shooting a drone flying over your property would be illegal.
