Reply to More trivia for y’all: This is the International Ballroom at the Washington Hilton. It has a unique shape. What’s it designed to look like and why? by hoosyourdaddyo
I believe it's acoustics. I know the Hall of President's and Green Room is behind the stage. The stage is mechanical, it drops down to the garage for storage and load in purposes. On the other side is all a kitchen. Holds up to 150 tables, has a second tier, near the kitchen. The lighting in the ceiling soffit can change to any color you want, And the food sucks. Other than that, I dunno.
