I heard it feels a lot like the Link65, which I have. You can make it stiff or increasingly bouncy depending on how you set it up. I have found that bouncy is much easier on the fingers over time

They also got in hot water for some keycap color ways if I remember correctly.

As someone whose first board was a GMMK Pro, I think it stems from the board just not being good and still being expensive. I wouldn’t have got into MKs if it wasn’t for it, but compared to the QK65 and other budget boards, it’s just not a great value.

Regardless, it’s a fine entry board and always in stock, which is really nice for people getting into the hobby.
