Not sure about elsewhere, but in Ontario at least it's illegal to serve someone who's drunk. It's a weird paradox, but those who serve alcohol are legally required to stop serving them.

The bar cutting her off and kicking her out is different from the bar simply closing for the night, as the bar stopping service to specifically her is respecting this law.

I highly suspect it works for most things including things like shampoo, cooking oil, glue, etc.

But it's interesting to prove it in this case which suggests there may be times that smaller packages (which mean more packaging waste) might be worth the trade off.

Might want to read up about sampling bias instead of basing your very generalized conclusion on a very narrow sample of people who participate in MMA/Combat sports
