Real unemployment is approaching 20%
Yes the unemployment numbers are BS. Also the recently let go tech workers are not finding new jobs in 2 weeks.
U6 is at 7.7% currently which is the closest we can get as it’s still based on people who have answered surveys about employment status.

Once a company starts a dividend and the big retirement funds pick it up they can’t stop it. If they halted the dividend and institutional investors (code word for municipal retirement funds) dump the stock it crashes hard.

It’s a temporary pause. This summer is a perfect storm of economic conditions that will have a record number of lease returns and repos.

Overpaying for inventory wasn’t a problem when used car prices were going up 10% a month during the pandemic but now that they’re falling month over month they’re looking at awful write downs in their future.

Too much airbnb put talk for the past 2-3 weeks. Check the volumes and IV and see if there are any deals in there. Given the amount of conversation volume on WSB I would be cautious that a lot of its movement may already be priced in.

Not really - this is a COTS solution that would cost 10s to 100s of billions to develop otherwise. The costs have already been amortized through millions (maybe billions) of devices sold. It enables a high speed data solution for anything placed on the moon and the only major cost will be maintaining the earth-moon link.
