So you stab, or you stab harder, got it. Club, you swing or swing harder, yes, real progress. I prefer to stab with the club. You’re reinforcing the point that melee is undercooked laziness, with almost zero variety. Worse, you seem to think that stab and stab a bit harder is worth mentioning as different enough to separate them.

Yes, a period, which then means all context is lost and nothing you said before relates to it. Again, got it. You’re damn right you’re no English teacher, if that’s your response. Paragraphs don’t exist, context isn’t real and periods denote the end of a topic? Nice.

It’s not deep. Ubisoft have been coasting, it’s just your tolerance for half cooked, lazy games is lower than mine. Defending mediocrity is a habit for Ubi fans. Enjoy being the human embodiment of beige.

My argument is that in melee you can only stab. You claim it’s not true and stated a bunch of examples, including crafting. None of which were melee attacks. You mentioned the fire, a modification to the attack.

You literally said it to point out my statement as false. That’s when.

Crafting is not an attack, throwing is a ranged attack. Yes, there are other mechanics, sorry you missed the specifics about the melee combat. Game was still lazy, but go off. Some people like trash, it’s your right.

Because it’s melee based, you can just stab. That’s it, one attack. It’s just laziness from the developer. If you make a game that usually you have guns, replace them but make zero effort to make the new weapons fun, that’s laziness!

Your argument is “it’s farcry”. That’s a poor reason to make half a game. Lots of mechanics can be added/removed. Farcry had super mutants, farcry 2 had malaria. They don’t feature in the new games so it shows mechanics and interaction can change.

Having some kind of dynamic interaction with the combat could have made it more engaging. The lack of story is one thing, but muted, half finished gameplay is a miserable thing to interact with. Some people have a huge tolerance for blandness though.

It’s a lazy reskin of the fourth game. Considering Ubisoft just keep remaking 3 in various forms, it’s lazy. They’re lazy.
