I can't remember a time when they didn't get nicked by some right wing half-wit. Dangerous game really, it's 250 bucks a sign and probably just a slap on the wrist or a sleepover in county if you beat the shit out of some fuck you catch doing it.

Nice one Bub. Even put the flag on the non strapped lumber to keep the cops from yanking your chain.

I agree, they nothing but extra fire starter to me anyway, but if you made that play you would run afoul of the commerce clause. Your best bet would be charge them a fee to put out the signs you don't want, like a dime per shitty styrofoam sigh or something.

First couple days of the season always have lots of folks shooting, as for how many deer that equals, well... That and I figured property on the coast costs to much to rate the amount of deer you going to have access to. Southern and central Maine (think York and North) is where the most deer get tagged. Western and Northern Maine still have some cheap 20 acre wood lots you can buy up from time to time.

You going to be fighting the capitalist that print and distribute that shit and free speech laws. The not so secret part of our politics is how much money media in general makes off them, it's a racket in itself at this point that probably isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Pretty much anywhere but the coast. Central Maine has a ton of deer, some of them get pretty big. Northern Maine has all the deer and fewer hunters competing. Western Maine has great deer, but the terrain is much harder sometimes, but that also cuts down on other hunters in the area. You could probably almost go with whatever is cheap and look around for sign on and around it before you buy it and not go wrong.

If you think our politicians would give a shit because one of our own got caught up in the mix you have a really unfounded view of the quality of our politicians. None of that is happening because this is 'Merica, where the first amendment lets people spew hate and incite violence; and where the 2nd amendment lets any fuckwit with a band get a AR and enough ammo to make the news into a nightmare.

No, "mass shootings" are so common in American media you only hear about them for a day or two unless something particularly egregious occurs. I am not sure what you would expect the Maine authorities to do, that for sure sounds like the ATF or FBI's yard and Feds don't tend to play well with local cops.

Hand dug? Fill it with stone, you can recap it with wood or whatever but it will just bump the problem down the road with a fair amount of risk mixed in. If it is a dug well call a driller they will come out with a round cement cap that gets put a little ways down in it that is made to seal them up and keep surface pollutants out of the water table.

Ya, I mean I am sure none of them would overinflate how much they spent on campaigning to get that campaign cash direct without having to go through the bullshit of writing a book and buying all the copies or whatever...

Septicemia... I mean I never caught one but been around enough GSW's to know the sooner you can get a doctor in the mix and taking shit out and cleaning up leaks the better you are. I mean its what 15 hours flight time? Assuming it's waiting for you on the tarmac, you way past the magic hour at that point.

The fact politicians can now "Pay themselves back" from campaign pools means it's just going to get worse.
