We were considering a property @ 6/10th of a mile from high voltage transmission lines. I researched a bunch and spoke to the electric company a couple of times. There does not seem to be a direct link to cancer or brain tumors, but there also has not been a ton of research.

You think? How ‘bout litter boxes being put in schools to accommodate furries (commonly spread by aspiring politicians and rage personalities), how ‘bout the stolen election (70% of republics still believe), how ‘bout critical race theory indoctrinating our children (not a single instance of CRT as part of any elementary school curriculum has been discovered). These are common things that everyday people talk about as if they are fact. These all come from media. Social media or talk personalities.

Sunday driving should be fine, but train from new haven is low stress and the theater district is < a mile from grand central terminal (if I am remembering correctly - please double check).

I was with merchants and they were bought/merged with Community Bank NA a few years ago. My local branch is still great. No issues.

There is assistance for VT home heating bills that you might qualify for. Worth understanding the requirements.
