If you are going to buy a new cable anyway I would recommend just getting one off of AliX instead of waiting for Sennheiser to release a good one

I tried the black ones amongst other tips and none seemed to bring the mids up more to my liking. It's less the treble as an issue and more the mids and it's not really even an issue per say

I did not actually. It fits pretty securely and snuggly but you can tell it's not as perfect of a fit as the stock cable

+1 to the Vortex. Very underrated IEM however I do prefer the IE600 to it

I recently got a pair of IE600s however was not a fan of the stock tips and cable so I used a pair of IE Pro tips as well as an MMCX Tripowin Zoe cable which is so much better than the stoxk cable imo. Also I have been playing around with ways to boost the mids and tame the upper treble a bit so I'm trying various filters on the nozzle to see if anything resonates with me
