Why not make something for her?

You can make some simple recipes like Shoyu Chicken or Huli Huli chicken in the oven (unless you have a rotisserie attachment lol). They're pretty simple but really tasty.

You could also do some Spam Musubi or Loco Moco which are simpler recipes. Some other traditional recipes are a little more complicated like Kalua Pork, Lau Lau, and Poke (moreso ingredients sourcing than actually making it).

If she's from Hawai'i you can have snacks sent and even pineapples sent as a gift.

3 inches is certainly drivable but still more than enough for cars to be sliding around.

The major roads were awfully plowed (Kansas, National), and honestly didn't even look like they had been touched at 4 pm. Only the highways were cleared well.

I'm not very familiar with the route from Aurora to Springfield, and I'm not sure what you're driving, but to make a few things clear for anyone:

  1. If someone is tailgating you in the left lane then you should not be in the left lane.

  2. A following distance of 100 yards is incredibly excessive. Not only is it overkill for braking distance, but there's no possible way you can be maintaining 4 MPH over the speed limit while keeping a following distance of 100 yards.

I'm sure there are people being assholes and driving in an unsafe way, but when there's a pattern of it then it usually means there's some other factor at fault.

I know Hilton and Marriot both offer weekly rates but you need to call and speak to them about it to get the rates.

Extended stay america is an option, but I don't have any experience with it so I can't speak on the cleanliness or convenience of it.
