Edit: it was not a targeted shooting. Later reporting makes it seem as though it was three drunk people having a disagreement and two of them shooting one of them.

Today was the last day of their Saturday drag brunches that have been going on since November. I don't want to unduly speculate but I wouldn't be surprised.

The event was set to start at 10:30 but I assume that the 9:00 active shooter cause them to cancel or postpone.

100% agreed. I just sent this to a couple of friends and family along with this comment:

Have you seen this recently uncovered footage from the Philippines in 1942? Sometimes it is hard to wrap your head around the fact that there was a lot more going on than just the holocaust, killing nazis, and the whole Western front.

That said, I don't think anything that they did would constitute something that could be charged under Utah state law and I don't know if they would seek to prosecute it if it was done in idaho.
