Sure, and I'm not arguing against private schools in any way and its as you say, capacity is an issue.

However, the owner of a private school, now in a position to make budgetary decisions that can marginalize their public competitor is uh... not good. Especially when the owner is politically aligned with those that argue for the dissolution of the Dept of Education and public schools as a whole etc.

So, please I am asking sincerely here, why do you think she is a "left wing extremist"? A lot of conservatives on this sub get reflexively downvoted and a lot of times its because they throw out labels "communist", "radical" etc that aren't remotely true for the person they address.

What makes Purcell a left wing extremist?

The story doesn’t mention it but Johnson is also owner of the Goddard School in S Kingston a private Preschool. Chariho also has a preschool program. So you have an unelected appointee who votes on public school budgets and policies.

it’s literally in his best interests to undermine the public school.

Yeah, its going to happen one way or another. Limiting a very obvious and frequent pollutant is at least addressing one issue, littering but doesn't address the other, drunk driving but I'd rather at least cut down on the littering if its possible.

Just look around the ground next time you are walking by any road or highway. I don't see any nips on my rural street in S. County but as soon as I hit the end of the street and walk along the country road there I can find 3-4 nips before I make it 100 yds. It's shocking how prevalent it is and is by far the most visible litter on the side of the road down here at least. You could walk 2 city blocks in distance and probably pick up 50 or so of them easily. Even worse by stop signs etc.

Celestial Cafe in Exeter is solid and probably underappreciated / less known.

Pasquale's is also great for the pasta and pizza as someone else already mentioned.

Rathskeller in Charlestown isn't gonna blow you away but solid bar food and nice homemade chips. Heavy pours on the cocktails too most times and I've always had good service there. Probably not worth the trip down from PVD for given it's not offering anything amazingly unique but its a good spot for a burger. The fried fish sandwich is excellent btw, perfectly fried every time I've had it.

Back 40 in Exeter is also solid gastro-pub with some upscale bar food selection. Good cocktail and beer selection and its a big spacious clean space as well.

I used to live a mile or two away and one of the main approaches was a ways off from our backyard. We could hear planes coming in every 10-15 mins during certain stretches of morning and evening but tbh you just sort of tune it out after a week or so and I never really noticed it again like 95% of the time.

What the hell are you even talking about? If I edited anything it was once a few seconds after I posted because text to speech made an error.

e: you know it says if a post is edited or not right? Just to the right of where your name is on the post? Like yours is above and mine is on this one now? But, the one you're replying to wasn't ever edited at all. Hell of a rant based on the wrong post. Did you forget which sockpuppet account you were logged into? Maybe you were posting to OP on another one?
