Maybe they're putting in flexposts in the smaller lane later to make it a protected bike lane

Good tip, water should be shutting off soon though as the temps drop close to freezing so I wouldn't rely on the water being running.

Yeah, depends how far they run. 8 miles is longer than I go most days, but even if i were going out for 10+ i'd probably prefer driving/biking to the park rather than having 8 miles of the run getting to/from the park.

I'm lucky to live within a mile of the park though so it is really nice to be able to run to the park easily.

Depends where you live though. Running there from the heights or journal square isn't ideal
