Thank you for the comforting words, and even though I did nothing wrong. I still as if I can't face my dad. I don't know what he'd do. All that blame he placed on my mom. What it did to them, to him. What my shadow mother did.

She did kill the other baby that belonged to the parents who raised me. Maybe she was worried how I would react, or shame. Guilt? Maybe she was going to reveal herself in time but had gotten so used to watching me from afar that she became comfortable that way.

I wonder if he'll hate me more.

I don't know how I'll be able to face my dad, but I want to be the one who hands him the urn. And face whatever it is to come.

I don't know what their end goal was, maybe the RRF were sort of emissaries? The other nations allowed them to conduct expeditions there and you need permission in order to do so.

I believe it was trying to get both London and Chloe, and it didn't look as if it wanted either to leave. It almost looked as if the thing wanted to keep them there.

I believe Chloe was, but Pascal was the only other person who knew about it. Since she disappeared for some time and was likely turned. I believe she spared me because I saved her on the helicopter and she owed me a favor.

Perhaps unrelated but my mom always said never trust a man with two first names or ones with goatees. She says one the devil doesn’t know who to beckon and the other the devil can’t recognize. I never found much sense in it, but it’s eerily starting to make sense now.
