Did you just seriously try to be that needlessly mean and insult someone for "having an unmeaningful life" because they asked a question you don't approve of?
There's a lot of meaningful and worthwhile back-and-forth in many of the conversations in this thread. As someone that hasn't watched the series, I found it to be helpful and I'm glad much of it took place.

No you are right!
Capitalism is sacred. We shouldn't be whining about the over splintering of streaming services.

Reply to comment by cbaker817 in Why is Jack Ryan S3 so terrible? by khroshan
Writers missed the opportunity (just in my opinion) to have some True Lies moments with Ryans girlfriend/future wife.
They touched on it with the helicopter ride out of the party and the sudden meeting about the pandemic, but I really wish they'd have done more with it.

Its probably much too soon and not a joking matter, but it would be kind of funny if Ted was somehow responsible for Brady's divorce in some Forest Gump kind of way.

I haven't watched the show and in no way can argue against the headline.
But I get very suspicious when I read a catchy review one-liner that the critic is more interested in showing how witty they are than giving us an honest opinion.

This is the kind of billionaire I would have been.
Every mud everywhere is given free hosting if they want it.
Buy Asheron's Call, Anarchy Online, Daoc and reboot with with modern graphic engines.
Deadwood would never have been cancelled. Same with Rome.
Tom Selleck would have been bribed or blackmailed into making more Jesse Stone movies instead of Blue Bloods.
One way or another, Firefly would have been coming back.
And thats just the off the top of my head stuff I'd do for me, I personally think billionaires have a social responsibility to society. They need to find something they care about and try to fix that.
Like homes for homeless vets etc. And no, throwing money to buy elections just to help ensure you never have to pay higher taxes isnt that.

In social medias defense, if it hadn't been doing its thing, I wouldn't have watched it. I even tried the first episode and didn't make it to the end. The second time though, wow. Really, really great tv there.

Reply to Is there an expression for liking the the experience of watching a character regardless if they are likeable? by Holmbone
I need to know this as well.
Some people get way too judgmental about why we/I enjoy a certain kind of character like Walter White, Tony Soprano etc.
Audiences absolutely can love a character they would never in a million years be friends with in real life or wish to ever imitate.
