Sorry forgot a latch system to attach it when hanging up. Magnets on the plywood and a screwed up L bracket on the ceiling

Piece of nice plywood, cut to size of access panel, prime twice , use hinges and a block to attach piece to ceiling now you have made a cheap access panel. Want to get fancy get some cornerbeams for where the sheetrock meets the plywood and spackle to a nice clean edge, then paint the whole ceiling.

Buy a few compartmented storage trays and number them and get real fancy take a before picture and you place the picture in that slot as well.

When it comes to laying brick. Make sure that the sand is compacted with a mechanical tamper. Make a border with cement and bricks laid into them to keep the sand somewhat in. After you lay your brick I have seen a mixture of something of 3 sands to 1 cement mix to fill in the voids, broom it in powder mist it wet..top seal everything and you should be good.
