I find that to be the point of WL. It’s about privileged, mainly white people who are deep down really fucked up and have personal drama they keep private despite their insane wealth. The White Lotus company in itself is a franchise of 5-star resorts. So it’s kinda hard to stray away from that setting and position.

Extras do not get residuals in ads even if they’re SAG members.

Do you work in the entertainment? How'd you learn all the different levels of an actor?
I work in advertising and our definition of an Extra is different then that of film/tv.

Even as someone who has seen all 5 seasons, I'd advise no. Only S1 is phenomenal and Elisabeth Moss was superb in it. Then it got tiresome and sooo f'n depressing and Moss' performance stayed the same. I cant stand that menacing stare into the camera Moss does every single episode.
But I am the type of person that watches a show because I've invested in it and will watch it until the end because I wanna know the endgame.

HBO is the Yankees of stream services... they're not going to NOT produce and air quality shows. They have the prestige, the budget, the production value to create amazing show after show.
