By the time someone actually picked up 911 though the funeral would be over.

I heard it as follows:
An American pilot is flying over Australia when he is forced to make a crash landing. He comes to in an Australian hospital. Disoriented and badly hurt, he turns to the nurse in the room and weakly asks “did I come here to die?” The nurse cheerfully replies, “no, mate, you came here yesterday!”

Hahaha you’re right! Good catch! I was so busy trying to prove it was “technically” right, I failed to notice it was just straight up “right.”

It’s not wrong, I think it just doesn’t count numerals as words (2). Which means that it’s “a,i,o,t,y,” which is indeed in alphabetical order.
Edit: as someone below me so helpfully pointed out, it’s true even if you spell out “two.” So I was right, but also not as right as I could have been.

This is all solid information. There’s also a Costco not too far away, but you’d probably need a car (you didn’t mention if you had access to one or not).

Oh they don’t do it every night, so if you’ve been hearing it a lot it might be something else. Or maybe they’ve been working their way down the tracks and only just got to me.

Yeah they’re using some kind of truck mounted industrial vacuum to clean the light rail. I know because it has been directly outside my window since 7am.
