For science: I volunteer to lay naked and sprawled out, over night as an experiment.

Reply to ‘Kindred’ First Look: Octavia Butler’s Sci-Fi Classic Gets the Prestige-TV Treatment by [deleted]
Interesting side note:
The actress Mallori Johnson just recently graduated with a Bachelor's from Juilliard!
So, I'm pretty eager to check out and see her first real role performance. And of course... at the same time: I'm keeping in mind how lots of actors have an iffy start in their first few roles.
But ya, Julliard which frequently works with the best of the best talents, obviously saw something in her! So did the show's producers.

Reply to Russia alleges Canadian-made parts in drones targeting ships | Russia-Ukraine war News by Menegra
Putin was reportedly especially suspicious about Canada's involvement, when it was reported to him that some of the drones were propelled by a unique refined form of maple syrup as fuel.
Also noteworthy, was a portrait of Celine Dion painted on the front hull of one drone, done in WWII burlesque style, as well as another drone that sported the smiling face of Justin Bieber.

Sorry... sorry, couldn't help it.
But yes, I absolutely agree with your comment! Middle management is really destroying a lot of company reputations unfortunately, much to the dismay of the talented teams of engineers working below them.
Probably the best example of this tragedy: Boeing.

Reply to Biggest star compared to our sun. by Born-Promotion-5977
Interestingly, despite UY Scuti's insane, astonishing, mind blowing diameter... So vast that they call it a "hyper-giant-star"...
It is actually "only" about 8 to 10 times the total mass of our sun, give or take, if I recall correctly.
Which kinda means it's probably transitioning from a star to something more like an insanely inflated puffy "fluffy cloud" of hydrogen and helium, I suppose you could say?
But ya, its density is so low that it would proverbially "float in water" if you had a giant cosmic bathtub.
Of course: in reality the mass of that much water in such a hypothetical bathtub would gravitationally suck in the star, and merge with it, and probably would then form a black hole.
But ignoring that factor... ya, UY Scuti would totally float in a bathtub no problemo!
