Should never have sold off the Sheinhardt Wig Company.

There was a rumor of one of those opening near Pitt, but it never came to fruition.

It is. We’ve made a culture of always being a rush to get nowhere.
I always hate seeing drivers weaving throughout traffic only to catch up with them minutes later since they’ll inevitably hit the same lights I do.

It’d probably help if companies weren’t so stringent on workers being early / punctual. We’ve ingrained in our society that you HAVE to be early all the time in spite of things like traffic and weather.
A few jobs ago, I had a boss who would log every employee who was even 1 minute late at any time for any reason.

The Pens would do well in Harrisburg. They’ve done nothing for the Lower Hill in 12 years as practice.

I always got a laugh out of Saccone’s faux “Built Ford Tough” style ad campaigns even though he looked like a doughy boomer who got all clothes at Sears and probably collects Hot Wheels as the height of his excitement.

South Hills has the T with lots of park and ride lots for downtown workers. No other area has anything close to it.

I think some city councilman in the 70’s/80’s during 279 planning got them to avoid a 28 connector so as to dump traffic into the lower north side to hopefully drive sales at local businesses. Didn’t really work as the area is much worse now than the 80’s.

That’ll actually hurt the smaller retailers and restaurants since they won’t have one of the two anchors open.

Nothing in Cranberry is upscale. It’s like five versions of the same plaza as Waterworks. They have Ross and Marshall’s too.

I think the plaza will be missing electronics, hardware, automotive, and general household items as categories.

They also have what I like to call the prison gates at the entrance which don’t let you go back out through the entrance should you not find what you’re looking for.

Maybe they could buyout the Ford dealership and McDonald’s to reconfigure the entryway / light?

I’m hoping Meijer comes to Pittsburgh eventually. They’ve come as far east as Youngstown / Cleveland.

They should have bought up some of the old larger format K-Marts in the area to remodel.
