Reply to How do you convince someone who utilizes NH's cold weather recreational activities (ice fishing, snowmobiling, skiing, etc.) to become more concerned about the shifting climate? by rabblebowser
It is now known as climate change, not global warming. It's not just warming up temps, but it is leading to more severe, and erratic weather. Storms will become much more intense, more frequent, and less predictable. There are going to be more precepitation in some areas, less in others. This is going to have long term problems for the hability of the planet for humans. The Earth will be fine, but it will be a lot tougher for the humans living there. We've already started to see the impact, and the ride is going to get bumpier. So hang on.

Reply to Cryptic Encounters? by Gree-Grump
The skeptic in me would say that most have a phone camera on them 100% of the time, not to mention trail cams being such an easy way to leave a camera somewhere remote, there really ought to be some photographic proof by now. Thay being said, there are some woods no one wants to be in at night, there is something that causes a visceral reaponse...and I am not sure why that is.

AI won't be a universal replacment. They are only computers after all, we cannot program them for every situation and even if AI is advanced sufficently it would have a difficult time learning espcially if there are dire consequences.
Never trust a computer you can't throw out the window.

Hanover quite and out of the way. You have Dartmouth and a few companies but you'd be cut off from most anywhere. Southern NH you can get to Boston relatively easy. Manchester does have a few flights out of. Fidelity is big in Merrimack.

This. I was right leaning when they were smaller goverment, less goverment in your life. It is not what they are now. All the projection and power grabs. I realized it sometime during Bush's Presidency. What is offered now isn't actual solutions, just peddling fear and shitting the bed.

April very hit or miss. Could be still snow, could be mud, could pour for a week. May gets better consistancy.
