A basics of theory is necessarily to understand what you are doing and it will save a lot of time in the future. You don’t have to go crazy on the theory tho. It is basically the universal language for music instruments and therefore it will aid you in every instrument you will ever try to learn.

My advice is to start picking one of the three instruments first, it takes years to properly play one of these.
try to learn as much theory on it by watching videos about it, this will still not get you far though. You will need practice, asks friends or family to lend you their instruments. Also maybe they can even assist you playing as a form of teaching.
A paid teacher is not the only way, but if you want to reach a high level I think it is important to learn from an experienced musician because the instruments you picked are very technical (especially the violin takes a long time IMO).
Even self teaching piano can take months or years with daily practice.
Without teachers it is still possible of course, if you are driven enough to practice multiple times a week (best is daily but that is not always possible). Try out lesson books or find any programs online that focus on all the fundamental aspects of teaching your desired instrument.
