What trade do you know? Most unions require you to know a trade.

If the car is registered to them then it is fine to have an out of state plate. I did this for 5-6 years with a car of my mothers. Once/If the car is ever transferred to you it must be registered in your name. If the car needs an inspection it must be taken back to the state that it is registered in for the inspection.

I think that SELCO is the only option. Last I knew everything in Shrewsbury was run by the town. If you have the option we have FiOS in Westboro and haven't had any problems. We stream everything and with Gig speeds haven't had an issue ever.

Yes it was a baseboard radiator. It was completely our fault. We run our wood stove whenever we are home. So Friday night-Saturday I was running the stove. The pipe that burst was on the other side of the house from the wood stove. The room the wood stove was in was 75 or so, but the heat doesn't make it to that room. Basically I was attempting to save $10 or whatever in oil and ended up costing myself $1500 in repairs. Next time it gets that cold I'm just going to let the oil run.

I had a pipe freeze and burst. Luckily the 3rd place I called said they would be there within 4 hours. They were 30 minutes late, but got me set for the night at least. A radiator pipe is what froze. They capped it off on each side and called it a night. It left me without heat in that zone. They will be back later this week to actually fix the pipe since it was solid with ice at the time. Total cost will be around $1500 with zero damage to the house. It sucks, but could have been much worse.

Seems really high. We were getting quotes for $30k for our 3400 sq ft house with 3 outdoor compressors and like 8 heads inside.

It got cold out and they want the warmth. Every fall/winter we deal with a few mice. We recently moved in to a place surrounded by woods. It got to the point they were in the ceiling so we had to poison them instead of using traps. If you rent contact a landlord, if its your house get more traps/maybe move it up to poison. Tomcat Chunx worked well for us.

I would reach out to MassSave. It would probably be easiest to reach out to the person that came to your house. MassSave is paying full price to the vendor so the vendor has no excuses to not do the job properly

I had them do attic insulation and someone from MassSave came out a couple weeks later and checked on the work. Did this happen with you? I'd imagine that it would be hard to check every cavity, but it sounds like they missed a lot.

I live in Westboro and work in Newton about a mile off the pike. I aim to get to work at 7am. Usually it take about an hour taking the pike in.

Our town has limits based on lot size. I think 1/4 acre has a 6 chicken limit. We have a couple acres so we don't have a limit. We are thinking about doing some meat birds next year.

Where are you buying feed? When we started probably 4 years ago or so a 50lb bag of feed from Tractor Supply was like $12 now its closer to $20. Oh and on top of that I have 2 chickens that eat eggs. So I am lucky to get 1 egg a day out of 9 chickens. Once it gets a little colder it will be 0 until Spring.

Haha I agree. When we got our first 6 we bought a cheap coop from tractor supply. That lasted about 3 months until they outgrew it and ended up spending like $1300 on a coop and run. Its been a few years and we are now up to 9 chickens and probably could fit a couple more before it was an issue.

It is a requirement(in MA) for all cars driving to be insured. This information is on your car registration. I believe that there may be 1 or 2 states that don't require insurance at all.
