Hey buddy, I just want to reiterate, don't give those leeches a god damn cent of your own money. Also NEVER acknowledge the debt as YOUR debt. This is the estate's debt, and you need to always refer to it as such. Money is weird and if you ever acknowledge the debt is yours UVMMC is going to try to suck you dry.

Even if you were promised the estate, don't ever refer to the debt as yours by proxy. You're going to inherit the remainder of the estate (if there is any) after everyone gets their pound of flesh. Even if you're representing the estate, the debt always belongs to "the estate", not "you".

Don't give them a chance to screw you. It's so fucked up that we have to worry about semantics when dealing with the death of people close to us.

It'll auto-fill the title but you can edit it. Alternatively, if you title the post before adding a link, it'll won't set the title automatically.

Alternatively, it's also common to make a regular "post" (not "link") and the include the news article in the body of the post.

Here's a "link" with an edited title:

So here's the thing - the way the post is titled makes it sound like increasing statehouse wages is a bad thing. I googled you and see that you've run for legislature before, and I also noticed in one of your comments that you agree this is a good thing.

Ironically, I think a lot of the people who are shitting on you would actually agree with you, but are thrown off by the post title. Notice how the replies supporting increased wages are being upvoted (including yours!), but the actual post is at 0 votes? There's a clear disconnect. Given your opinion on the subject, a more appropriate title may have been "Progress towards livable wages for VT lawmakers".

I have an honest question for you - do you think that the average person knows what a VT lawmaker is paid? I'd wager they don't, and when a person hears that VT lawmakers are going to double their salary, their gut reaction is going to be negative.

PS: I know that you didn't editorialize the title of this post, but do you really think people are going to even open the seven days article? They're coming here for the comments.

I drove down to Middlebury last Saturday. The herb wasn't as great as what I'd call the "best" stuff I've had from the private market, but it was significantly better (and easier to get) than most of the private market stuff I've had.

The edibles were $25 (pretax) for 10 5mg gummies. Personally I'm fine with paying that for accurate measurements of THC levels. I'm too old to play russian roulette with edibles.

I'm probably who this stuff is marketed at. I have the cash but not the contacts, so the legal route is the path of least resistance for me.

edit: Hoping to get a local shop in the greater burlington area soon, but for my use, the occasional trip down to middlebury is fine. I didn't bother with Ceres given the hate boner I'm seeing for them.
