Most of these guys are young and don't have kids. We had a couple of foreman and line men but most are just young regular arborists/laborers, especially the ones that traveled. The guys that are local just rotate, Christmas eve and half Christmas day and the other half was Christmas day and the 26th.

Also most of us who do sign up for winter ops don't care. I've done both plowing and tree cutting during holiday storms and nobody was making a sacrifice. Everyone was generally excited as the pay was too good to pass up. Again only a couple of guys who really wanted to go home and they did so after a few hours.

I kinda get why people think it's a huge sacrifice but again pay was good and anyone who was actually "sacrificing" actual bonding time with their families went homeπŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

The ones off bold point usually unload diesel for the Sprague terminal in East providence.

The ones farther down off riverside do the exxron terminal in riverside.

On the pvd side farther north is either scrap, salt and/or natural gas. Farther down there's a 'cargo port where they ship cars and cargo to Africa and there's the gasoline terminal and a propane terminal

I stand by that you can't just limit anything pvd to just providence. Providence is small but the metro area extends far. Not only that alot of people from outside the city work or go to school in providence, even in public schools you have alot of kids from out of the city. so you kind ot exclude alot of people by just keeping it providence only.

Big Asian population in Cranston and I'm sure alot of them socialize in providence, especially since there's nothing to do in Cranston lol

Because a big business can easily hit those numbers. Def see a concrete supplier with big contracts or investment firms being at the top

And then you have to remember this could be total tax owed over a few years with fees and compounded interest added on. So even for a small business like a gas station or mini mart can easily hit 100k in just a couple of years.
