if you’re a runner Sam AM has a run club on wednesdays. I’ve met a lot of people through classes at local gyms too.

lived in hamilton park since my mid 20s and adore it, been here 7 years. close to downtown, good cafes… plenty of options close by for tame nights and more typical bars are like 10 min walk.
